Payment methods

We understand getting paid before delivery reduces the risk in the business & also streamlines the delivery.

You can enable it in the row 6 of the sheet.

Let us look at the options in the cell B6 drop down

1. Show Note / Payment Link

This will simply put the note or link mentioned in cell D6 in the order message as-is.

Cell D6 value e.g. "Payment will be done on delivery thru cash or card."

2. PayPalMe

Paypal is popular in many countries. Their fees may be higher, but they are secure. You can create your PayPal.Me link and use it to collect payments.

Cell D6 value e.g. "Your-PayPal-Me-ID"

3. UPI - India

For the Indian sub-continent UPI is popular & unanimous. You will need to put your own UPI address in cell D6. Instead of the Scan to Pay, WhatsOrder will provide your customers with Click to pay through UPI option.

Cell D6 value e.g. "your-UPI-id@upi" or any other as per your Bank.

P.s. If you want to accept cards also, you will need to get a payment link from a payment gateway of your choice.

4. USSD Rwanda

Mobile money is known and accepted in the African continent. WhatsOrder makes it super easy for your customers. Collect payments through Mobile money via USSD Click to pay. Mention your dial code with merchant id ending with #. The amount payable will be automatically added.

Cell D6 value e.g. *182*8*1*037837#

5. Append amount to the link

May need developer assistance & webhost

Many payment gateways and payment instruments are still not fluid enough for various reasons. Though this brings limitations, WhatsOrder has created this option to make payment collection more flexible.

With a little help from the docs, you can create a customised link. WhatsOrder will add the amount payable value at the end of that link. Example below.

Cell D6 value e.g. "http(s)://your-domain.com/collect?cur=ZAR&amt="

In India, if you are using RazorPay Pages, you can append the amount to your Razorpay Page link. More details here: https://razorpay.com/docs/payment-pages/customize/#case-3---display-different-amounts-for-different If you are not using RazorPay, it is a great payment platform.
